Whats New Studio offers a private, professional yet carefree space for artists to record powerful music and refine their voice. Established and operated by Troy Five, our mission is to create an atmosphere that encourages artists to expand and amplify their natural talent.
At Whats New Studio, we bring your vision to life with live recording & production including mixing and mastering your upcoming single, EP, full-length album or film soundtrack. Our services include studio time, in-house engineer, session players, and access to our studio gear. We also offer a variety of services to enhance your project, including filming live sessions, music video production, video editing, and photography.

OLD-SCHOOL MEETS MODERN
Located in Glassell Park, Los Angeles, our 400-square-foot studio features 15-foot ceilings, creating a versatile space with an exclusive & laidback atmosphere. All genres welcome, well-behaved dogs too. We look forward to having you here!
Our studio is equipped with 12 channels of high-quality preamps, including Warm, Aphex, Avid, and DBX, as well as options for both 96k and 192k recording. We have a variety of classic microphones including Sennheiser, Shure, Lewitt, and Neumann. We are ready to roll with multiple computers running Logic Pro or Pro Tools.
